Seed of Life. Lilith from Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Lately I'm taking a look at some animes that I had on my list. I have been very impressed with Neon Genesis Evangelion and what it proposes. 

It may seem the typical anime whose main plot focuses on the struggle of humans mechas against a supposed angels to avoid a new cataclysm, but really the weight of history falls on how the protagonists deal with their feelings and emotions and how they relate to each other while they try to find the truth after their struggle.

One of the characters that catches my attention is Lilith and the strong symbolism when is presented crucified and wounded by the spear of Longinus.

The trap. A pacman parody.

Sure you know Pacman. The game created in 1980 by Namco.

This game has long since stopped being just a simply game to become an icon of pop culture and has been interpreted and parodied thousands of times.

In case you have spent this thirty-odd years locked in a cave and summing up the game in the basics, Pacman constantly crosses a maze full of dots and powerdots, pursued tirelessly by some cute ghosts.

Our protagonist (a yellow ball) eats these dots and occasionally some fruits that provide bonus points and that clearly are their favorite food.

Until now this was so. But the ghosts have decided to change strategy and plan an infallible trap to capture our speedy cheese.

Slashers and horror movie killers for coasters design.

Freddy Krueger from Nightmare on Elm Street, Pinhead from Hellraiser and Jason Voorhees from Fryday the 13th.

The first characters for this proyect I had forgotten on the catacombs of my hard disk.

The joy of the ghost: a "Ghost in the shell" inspired job.

In September 1993, Rolling Stone magazine published, under the headline "The joy of sex", a popular cover starring Janet Jackson and two mysterious hands that had a great impact and has been hugely parodied.

After a while away from this work here you have "The joy of the ghost", my latest work inspired by "Ghost in the shell" in a parody of this popular cover.

Cup-Aid.

Surely you know Cuphead, a fantastic vintage looking video game with a really hard gameplay and awesome animations.

You suffer to the death to win all the bosses in the game but it worth to help Cuphead and Mugman to get his souls back.

Here you a have the main character of the game in a parody inspired by the Kool-Aid Man, the mascot of the famous drink Kool Aid who have a weird habit of going through walls.
